Do I have to separate light and dark laundry?

Not necessary. We'll do that for you.

At which address can I have my order collected and delivered?

There are several possibilities. Think of your office, the gym, at home or at your neighbour’s. The condition is that someone hands over and/or accepts your laundry. In addition, that address must be in the area we cover. Check the postcode here.

How do I plan the collection and return?

When placing an order, you will see a number of possible collection and delivery times. You choose the times that suit you best. You’ll never have to wait too long, because they are always 1-hour time slots.

Do you also clean items that no longer have a garment care label?

Cleaning items without a garment care label is at your own risk only. If you have items that do not have a garment care label, we will contact you to discuss the best cleaning method. We need your permission first before we’ll clean an item without a garment care label.

Do you also clean wedding dresses and other special items?

Our cleaners have years of experience and can clean anything. Is your item not included on our price list? Please send a message to our customer service. We will give you all the information you need.

Can I have my order collected from and delivered to an alternative address other than my home address?

The order can also be collected from and delivered to an alternative address, provided that this address is located in the area where we are active.

Check the postcode here. If you have already created an account, we advise you to place an order without using this account. The postcode of your account is fixed unless you change this in your account. This is not possible when placing an order.

How long does it take before my order is returned?

On average, we’ll return it to your home after 48 hours. With the exception of Sundays and public holidays.

Wassie works with a network of renowned and qualified experts (textile cleaners) who ensure that your order is perfectly cleaned. The cleaner closest to you will pick up your order.

How do I prepare my order?

You gather the laundry you want to have cleaned. Empty all the pockets of your clothes. Put the items of your order in a bag. The laundry is collected and taken to the cleaners.

Our experts always look closely at the label. They have years of experience and know exactly which machine and cleaning method to use to get your clothes perfectly clean. Do you want to be sure before you hand over anything? Please contact our customer service.

Do I pay collection and delivery costs?

For orders above €35, collection and return are free of charge. For orders under €35, you’ll pay €6.95 per order.

Do you also clean leather, suede, fur, and other particularly delicate fabrics?

We also clean these materials. However, this does not fall within our standard offer. For it takes longer to clean them and the cleaning is riskier. Please contact our customer service for more information.

What do you do? Dry-clean or wash?

That depends on the item. Laundry bag, towels, sheets, and bath towels are washed. With the loose items we look at the garment care label. The garment care label is always decisive for the cleaning method. Please make sure that all items you put in your laundry bag may be washed. For all items that need to be dry-cleaned: we treat stains, dry-clean the item, iron it, and hang it.

How do you treat stains?

We do our utmost to remove stains, but sometimes this is not possible. Especially old stains are stubborn. Do you have a specific stain? Please let us know in the comments when you place an order.

Welk soort blouses kan gereinigd worden?

De meeste blouses kunnen gewoon gereinigd worden. Echter zijden blouses of blouses met veel kant of ander kwetsbaar materiaal moeten altijd als los item besteld worden en niet in de waszak. Dit is omdat deze kledingstukken speciale zorg vereisen en daarom moeten deze apart besteld worden.

Will you hang my laundry or fold it?

We'll indicate this when you place your order, but the basic rule is: hanging. Only if you order a laundry bag, you will have the items returned folded in a clean laundry bag. You will have your order returned in suitable/protective packaging. This packaging is recyclable. If you return the packaging to our driver, you’ll help us to run a more sustainable business.

How does Wassie work?

You fill your laundry basket, you choose online when we will collect and return your laundry, you gather your laundry, empty your pockets, and give us your laundry. The whole explanation can be found on the “how does Wassie work” page.

Do you iron everything?

That depends on which service you choose. If you want your laundry in the laundry bag ironed, you can choose the “Waszak Premium”. Its price includes ironing up to 5 kg of laundry. All loose items in your laundry basket will always be ironed and returned hanging. Items in the “Waszak Basis” are only washed, dried and folded.

What items are allowed in the laundry bag?

In your laundry bag you can put all textiles of which the garment care label indicates that it is allowed in the washing machine. How do you know it is not allowed in the washing machine and therefore can't be put in the laundry bag for Wassie? The symbol of the washing machine on the garment care label will be crossed out.

How do I place an order?

Check your postcode to see if we also come to your area. Fill your online laundry basket, plan your collection and delivery times, and place your order. On collection day, please have your laundry ready for us and don't forget to empty your pockets.

Is there a minimum order amount?

There is no minimum order amount. However, you do benefit from a discount of €6.95 on collection and delivery costs for an order amount above €30.

Please contact customer service as soon as possible. Together, we’ll look for a solution. If you don’t cancel and you’re not at home when we collect or deliver? Then we will be forced to charge an additional €6.95 in logistics costs.
